The Anholt Shorts are worked from the bottom up. At fi rst, the trouser legs, with rib band, are worked separately. Then they are joined, and stitches are cast on front and back to shape the crotch. The pants are shaped by working decreases above the stitches of the crotch and fi nished with a ribbed band formed by “short-row shaping” and a row of eyelets for a drawstring.
