Aluk Christmas stocking is knitted from the shaft down with a regular wedge heel. First, a ribbed edge is knitted, after which you continue to knit in multi-coloured stockinette stitch according to the diagram. The rest of the stocking is then knitted in the base colour. Finally, a strap is knitted which is attached.
